The "uni" run...I recall we spoke some yrs ago about how fast they got from UofA (Tucson) to UT to Col (?) to points east...they really packed a slew of uni shows in between our beloved Avalon run (4-6) and the Ark in Boston (21-23), before landing in StLouis (?) for the DPs (26/27)...

This month has to be one of the tops (I know I will be corrected on this for sure!?) for # of shows per # of nights available across geographic area, don't you think?

And yes, a good friend of mine is hard to find, I always think (not unlike Mason's...I just think these two tunes in particular are not easy for the boys to sing).

Love the Yellow Dog pt 1> Schoolgirl> Yellow Dog pt2.

Pigpen keeps interrupting Bobby, who is stumbling through the joke, and ultimately steals the punchline. How often did Pig muscle his way into the Yellow Dog joke?

Not often enough? For me any how...really got old after a while, esp for an early era fan like me, hearing it all the time...
